Old tin flower vase and holly with a Merry Christmas bell

My front porch is fun to decorate for all the holidays. I purchased an old dresser and placed it on the porch. The drawers are used to organize stuff, and put your shoes into. The large tin white flower vase with some rust looks great with holly. The berried holly is female and the other without berries is a male. The Merry Christmas bell was made by an artist who sells at the very vintage market.
The two pumkins are from my garden. I gathered a few leafs this fall. I used hodge pod and glitter. I placed them under the pumpkins. The carnival vase held twigs from the yard sprayed with snow and holly.

Christmas Day 2013

Christmas Day is a day to cherish your life. I am a Christian, and  my belief  is in the trinity of God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus. Pope Francis said that in our own lives, too, “there are both bright and dark moments, lights and shadows. If we love God and our brothers and sisters, we walk in the light; but if our heart is closed, if we are dominated by pride, deceit, self-seeking, then darkness falls within us and around us.”  Text from page http://en.radiovaticana.va/news/2013/12/24/christmas_midnight_mass:_jesus_is_the_light_who_brightens_the_darkness/en1-758556

The grace of god gave me the everlasting Jesus Christ. I am very grateful for the brilliant light of Jesus -God's Merry Christmas gift to me.  My footsteps covered in the love of God brings into a new year of 2014.

My husband and I had a peaceful Christmas Day.  I gave him the new telephone watch, which he had fun tinkering with it. He gave me see's candy( my favorite chocolate ), the life of my dog spot and a new utility trailer for hauling my curios to vintage markets. We had coffee and the famous egg, sausage, cheese and bread dish for brunch. With more food delights to follow. Indeed, a nice day!
What are the things of your life that you cherish on this Merry Christmas Day?
