Presented a Lovely Blog Award by "By Light of Moon"

I received a prestigious award from “By Light of Moon,” smiles, from Cyndi. I am one of her fabulous blogs, and I am deeply honored for her to share me with her blogger friends. A fun thing I can do is to share the award with 15 of my favorite friend blogs to pass on the award to other fabulous blogs. The award keeps growing in blog land. I enjoy reading and leaving comments on blogs from others who leave comments on my friends blog. OK, I admit it, I am an avid “BLOG JUNKIE.”

THESE ARE THE WORDS PRONOUNCED TO ME BY MY BLOG SISTER:

“I’ve passed the “One Lovely Blog Award” to you for your blog which I enjoy looking at every day!

You can read about it here ~ http://bylightofmoon.blogspot.com/

My next blog will name the blogs I pass on this lovely award to and why. Keep checking back for the upcoming announcement.

CROWN THIS WOMAN QUEEN. MRS. VICKY'S KINGDOM

If you haven't already heard the news proclaimed throughout the kingdom, you are all invited to participate and visit the galleries of CROWNS hosted by Andrea at http://vintagebellastudio.blogspot.com/ on Wednesday, June 10!

THE SPECIAL CROWN MADE OF CRYSTAL BEADS IS MY SHOW STOPPER TO THE CROWN FEST. I BOUGHT THE CROWN AT A BRIDAL SHOP DOWNTOWN EDMONDS, WA. AN ELECTRIC SMALL TOWN CLOSE BY THE BAY.
I PRESENT TO YOU MY CROWN ON A FINE CHINA PLATE, BETTER THAN A SLIVER PLATE. THE CROWN OF GLORY.
THE STORY THICKENS ABOUT THIS MARVELOUS CROWN. MRS. VICKY MODELS THE CROWN, HERSELF IN FRONT OF PARIS FRANCE, A FRENCH OIL PAINTING.
I LOOK DOWN ONTO THE QUEEN MRS . VICKY. OH MY! THE AWARD OF QUEEN! I RARELY POST MY PICTURE, THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONAL BLOG.
I HAD MY HUSBAND, A PHOTOGRAPHER OF MANY YEARS, TAKE MY PICTURE. I AM PARTICIPATING IN THE GALLERY OF CROWNS. THIS IS WHAT I CAME UP WITH TO SHOW MY CROWN. THE SMALL CRYSTAL BAND CROWN IS VERY SPECIAL.
I WORE THE CROWN DURING MY SECOND MARRIAGE TO MY HUSBAND OF 5 YEARS. WE WERE MARRIED FIRST BY THE JUSTICE OF PEACE, AND THEN SECOND BY THE CHURCH (I HAD YOU FOOLED FOR A SECOND). IT IS SO MUCH FUN CELEBRATING 2 ANNIVERSARY DATES. WE BOTH LOVE PARTIES. WE DANCE, ENJOY THE FOOD AND HAVE GREAT CONVERSATIONS.
WE HAVE A WONDERFUL MARRIAGE IN OUR LATER YEARS. WE ADORE EACH OTHER. OUR SAYING IS "2 PEAS IN THE POD." MRS. VICKY'S KING MUFFIN HE IS. LOVE BUG, I AM TO HIM.
I WAS GLAD WHEN THE PHOTOS WERE DONE. I CAN WASH OFF THE MAKE UP AND BE "EL NATURAL." I PUT MY HAIR UP WITH BOBBY PINS. I CAN SIT IN THE BROWN LEATHER CHAIR WITH MY FEET UP, RELAX AND DRINK CRYSTAL LIGHT BEFORE BED TIME.

Honor your Mom

My mother has been fighting breast cancer for the past 3 months. When I was told about the horrible news, "mom has breast cancer," I felt like my umbilical cord was been severed-sharp pain.

I am close to my mom all my life. I have lived 2 hours away from the homestead when I moved to set up my own life experiences. My mom and I had many family fun times. I am the oldest of 4 siblings. My mom gave birth to me when she was 17 years old, in 15 days she was 18 years old.

My heart is swelling and tears are swelling in my eyes as I write, as I think of her, and when I had my recent mammogram. I entered the mammogram office-OH MY-my emotions of sadness. The technician placed my breast in the machine, squeezed, hold your breath and I cried. My mom did not get a mammogram for 3 years.

Mom was busy caring for her elderly mother, who passed away last 6/08 at the age of 99. She forgot, she thought about it, she forgot, her doctor reminded her, she forgot and life circumstances took her away from doing her annual mammogram check.

By the time Doctors figured out what mom had, her breast cancer was a stage 4 in the bone. This makes her prognosis 50-50 change for recovery. Her pain is unbelievable-she is in pain misery most of the time.

My message to all women is make time every year to do a mammogram. Do your breast exam between time, because a lump can form before you do your next yearly
mammogram. Early detection means life!

I am sharing the Elizabeth Edward's story link by clicking my title, " honor your mom." Read her story of inspiration, and do mammograms.
